- Modern Warfare 4 DMZ price depends on the edition you choose: Standard or Vault Edition.
- DMZ is included with the base game — there is no separate DMZ purchase on any platform.
- Release date: October 23, 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Switch 2.
- Pre-order bonuses are delivered through platform entitlements, not redemption codes.
- Avoid third-party key sellers promising discounted or "unlimited" DMZ access.
How Modern Warfare 4 DMZ Pricing Works
Modern Warfare 4 DMZ is not sold as a standalone product. DMZ is one of the core modes of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, alongside Campaign and Multiplayer. When you buy any edition of the game, you get full access to the DMZ extraction experience set in the Hajin Exclusion Zone.
That means the Modern Warfare 4 DMZ price is simply the price of the main game edition you purchase. Publisher pricing can vary by region, platform, and store promotions, so always confirm the current figure on the official store page before checkout rather than relying on cached or third-party listings.
Official pricing and edition details are published on the Call of Duty official site and each platform's storefront. Regional prices, taxes, and launch-window discounts can change, so treat the store page as the single source of truth.
The table below summarizes what each purchase tier typically includes based on official announcements:
| Edition | DMZ Access | Notable Contents | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard Edition | Included | Campaign, Multiplayer, DMZ, base operators | Check official store page |
| Vault Edition | Included | Standard content plus Vault Edition bonus items | Check official store page |
| Platform Pre-order | Included | Platform-specific pre-order incentives | Varies by retailer and region |
If a website or marketplace listing advertises "DMZ only" access at a reduced price, treat it as illegitimate. DMZ has no separate SKU and cannot be purchased independently of Modern Warfare 4.
Platforms and Where to Buy
Modern Warfare 4 launches on October 23, 2026 across four platforms. Each platform handles purchases, refunds, and bonus delivery differently, which matters if you plan to pre-order for the Vault Edition rewards.
PlayStation 5
- Purchased via PlayStation Store
- Pre-order incentives tied to PSN entitlement
- Link your PSN account to your Call of Duty account for bonuses
Xbox Series X|S
- Purchased via Microsoft Store
- Works with Xbox Game Pass policies only if officially announced
- Entitlements delivered through the Microsoft account
PC
- Available through official PC channels such as Steam and Battle.net
- Verify system requirements before pre-ordering
- Pre-order bonuses tied to the purchase account
Nintendo Switch 2
- Purchased via Nintendo eShop
- Confirm edition availability in your region
- Bonus content linked to the Nintendo Account
| Platform | Store | Key Consideration |
|---|---|---|
| PS5 | PlayStation Store | PSN region determines available editions |
| Xbox Series X | S | Microsoft Store |
| PC | Steam / Battle.net | Confirm PC specs against official requirements |
| Switch 2 | Nintendo eShop | Region availability may vary at launch |
Pre-order bonuses and beta rewards are delivered through platform entitlements linked to your Call of Duty account. Verify the link before launch day so eligible content appears on the correct profile.
Buying Safely: Step-by-Step
Follow these steps to purchase Modern Warfare 4 without overpaying or losing bonus content:
Choose your platform
Decide where you will actually play DMZ most — the game supports cross-platform progression only through officially linked accounts, so pick your primary platform first.
Compare editions on the official store
Open the official Modern Warfare 4 page and your platform's storefront. Compare the Standard and Vault Edition contents and confirm the current price in your region.
Pre-order or wait for launch
Pre-order only if the included incentives (Vault Edition items, platform bonuses) are worth it to you. Waiting for launch reviews costs you nothing and prices sometimes drop during seasonal sales.
Link your accounts
Connect your platform account to your Call of Duty account so beta rewards, pre-order items, and DMZ progression track correctly from day one.
Verify your purchase after launch
On October 23, 2026, confirm the game and all bonus items appear in your library. If something is missing, check account links first, then contact official Activision Support.
Buying directly from official storefronts guarantees refunds, support access, and legitimate bonus delivery. Third-party discounts almost always cost more in lost content or account risk.
Scam Warnings and Fake Discounts
Searches for DMZ pricing attract scam listings. Recognize the warning signs before entering payment details anywhere:
| Red Flag | Why It Is a Problem |
|---|---|
| "DMZ-only" access codes | No standalone DMZ product exists |
| Unlimited code generators | There is no in-game DMZ promo code system |
| Prices far below official store | Often stolen keys or account resale |
| Requests for account credentials | Credential harvesting, not a real store |
| Forced surveys or downloads | Phishing or malware delivery |
Never share passwords, one-time codes, or recovery information with any site claiming to sell discounted Modern Warfare 4 keys. Purchases and bonuses are only legitimate through official platform stores.
